24/07/2010 Deano has been out testing and filming the wonderful new Paramania REVO2 wing in the Dordogne area of France with Pascal CJ, Emilia Plak and Franck Simonnet. We had excellent weather for the entire trip allowing us to really put the REVO2 through it’s paces. We also had the opportunity to paraglide with it which highlighted what a truly exceptional wing it is in all circumstances, outperforming many dedicated paragliding wings. Paraviation are now back in the UK until the middle of June.
We will be attending the British National Paramotor League in Boston on 24th/25th April and also the British Open Championship in Worcester from 10th - 13th June. In between these times we will be conducting courses and workshops throughout the country and also demonstrating the new Polini engined Kangooks. As always we will have a stock of Paramania wings for demo also. Give us a shout and find out when we will be near you!
09/02/2010Paraviation have now completed an exhaustive but incredibly enjoyable test of the new Kangook/Polini in the deserts of California and Arizona. More than 30 hours of flight culminated in just a minor fault with the pull-start spring which is being dealt with by the factory before despatch of the next order of machines. Be quick to order yours in time for the Spring season! We will have demo's available by early March.

Paraviation are currently testing the wonderful new Polini THOR paramotor engine in the RSUltra Kangook frame. Once our extensive testing program has been been finalised we will have these machines for hire in our paramotor stable for 2010 and also for sale. Details will soon be on our Equipment page.

Paraviation would like to invite any of our previous clients the chance to come to Spain for the weekend 7/8th November 2009 for the Beuda La Concentracio paramotor gathering (http://www.laconcentracio.cat/programa-1.html.) Last year there were over a 100 pilots that went off for a 100km cross country flight around the south Pyrenees, we saw Dani Martinez and Ramon Morillas strutting their stuff and there was a huge breakfast and lunch in addition to the wonderful Catalan hospitality. We can provide accommodation at our airfield 12km away and equipment hire on an hourly basis to be able to fly to the event. If you would like to stay an extra day or two either side of the event you would also be welcome, the flying weather is spectacular at this time of year!

Deano had an attempt at the Paramotor World Speed record over a 15-25km course this morning in Cambridgeshire. Unfortunately the conditions at 6:30am were not favourable so he missed the record by just 1mph flying a Paramania Fusion 20m wing and a PAP 1400R3. Another attempt is in the pipeline, we'll keep you posted.

Paraviation can now announce that they are the official importer in the UK, Ireland and Spain for the exciting new RSUltra products including the amazing Kangook paramotor frame. These can be fitted with a variety of engine and hang-point options and can be viewed at either www.rsultra.com or by coming to see them at the UKPPG fly-in in March, Cambridgeshire this Bank Holiday weekend.

Deano has now completed the Paramotor World Championships in the Czech Republic and took a respectable 10th place and was second in the British Team who claimed silver, narrowly missing gold by a handful of points. Deano was second in the British team only to newly crowned World Champ Michel Carnet who put in a sterling performance throughout the whole event. So the summer continues with advanced workshops and the Paramania tour of the UK and also look out for an exciting new product in the pipeline...
Also don't forget the the UKPPG fly-in August Bank holiday weekend in March, Cambridgeshire.

The Paraviation Team are continuing the tour of the UK in conjunction with Paramania Reflex wings to offer experienced pilots the chance to demo fly any Paramania wing of their choice. Deano got 5th place out of the Brits at the National Paramotor Championships last week. On the back of this he was asked to train with the British Squad this last weekend and has now been offered a place with the British Team going to the World Championships in Czech Republic at the end of July. Deano would like to thank all those that came to the comps, offered support and kept him full of tea and sandwiches!

The Paraviation staff have been asked to make a summer tour of the UK for Paramania Reflex wings for demonstration purposes. We will have all wings in all sizes to try for those who would like to progress with these safe, dynamic wings. The dates and locations are yet to be confirmed but will coincide with fly-in's and paramotor club meetings. Deano will be attending the British National PPG Competition at Kerswell Green in Worcestershire between the 19th and 23rd June. Please feel free to come along, meet up in person and also meet many other prominent figures in the paramotoring world. We will then be available in the UK for the following four weeks for private tuition, top up sessions, take-off and landing workshops, etc and can come to you if time or travel are issues for you at this time of year. Alternatively we have a number of sites on the south coast that you can visit.
